I started at Sohio in 1980 working in the Warr's Research Library under Clarence Purdum. After that I went out to Broadway lab for a great 2 years under Bob Rightmire, then back out to Warr's Lab. I worked with a bunch a great people at both Labs and have many wonderful memories. I'm presently at Warr's in the Fuels Technology group. I met my husband Dan through all the fun Sohio parties. Dan worked for BP for 15 years, 4 of which were in Lima (in the '80's). It's sad to see the research lab closing up, but I'm glad for the years I worked here.
I grew up in SOHIO. My father, Walter Johnson, passed away in January. He was a Geologist for Sohio, retired in 1964. He was Chief Geologist in Houston in 1949.
