Mission:
To provide an online reference source for prerecorded open reel (reel to reel) tapes.
Background:
Although this medium was once very popular, little information exists online
about the many titles produced. While developing a database of information,
the author discovered that Charles King had assembled a significant collection
of data for 2-Track stereo tapes. Mr. King graciously agreed to donate the information
to the database and his data comprise a significant portion of the information.

Scope:
Our main focus is to provide details such as artists, track listings, cover art, etc..
We have concentrated our research on commercial tapes made in the United States
during the period 1950-1983.

Although all data are believed to be correct, their publication includes no
