Data Formatting

Please follow these conventions when adding or editing data for the Tapes Database:

• Capitilization
  Use Title form- all caps and all lowercase forms create problems with sorted lists.
• Title
  Follow Title conventions
  • Place 'A' and 'The' prefixes at the end, preceded by a comma and space. eg. 'End of Time, The'
  • Do not capitalize 'of', 'and', 'the', etc. within the title. eg. 'End of Time, The'
  • For classical pieces, place the composer's name in parenthesis following the Title. eg. 'Adagio for Strings (Barber)'.
• Artist
  • Enter a single artist as Last Name, First Name eg. Boone, Pat
  • Enter multiple artists as Last Name, First Name And Last Name, First Name eg. Boone, Pat and Cash, Johnny
